This deep-rooted fascination became the driving force behind his relentless pursuit of artistic excellence and his journey as a cinematographer.

Embracing his Latin heritage, Alejandro has always been driven by a desire to showcase and uplift underrepresented stories, ensuring that the richness of his culture is reflected on screen. His connection to Puerto Rico runs deep—not just through his work, but through personal experiences that have shaped his perspective as a filmmaker.

Seeking to immerse himself in the world of cinema, Alejandro embarked on a transformative adventure to the bustling city of Los Angeles. Over the course of seven influential years, he called Los Angeles home, refining his skills and unique artistic perspective. Today, as a bi-coastal director of photography based in Atlanta, GA, Alejandro continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling.

With five feature films, countless commercial spots, and music videos under his belt, his work spans projects such as My Dead Dad, The Idea of Progress, Saffron Kingdom (feature films), Cycle, Groups of Two (short films), and commercial campaigns for brands like Grand Marnier, NFL, and BMW. Alejandro’s ability to craft compelling, cinematic visuals has made him a sought-after cinematographer in the industry.
